removes risk of burns to users from hot cables. Water cooling of all high vacuum components dissipates
Joule heating and prevents increasing losses due to rising resistance
Intelligent
Water and vacuum interlocks prevent operation when system vented or without proper cooling
Remote I0O and serial interfaces allow high vacuum requirement to be set, with local manual
override option
Flexible Control
Choice of current, voltage or power control locally, via remote I0O or serial interface
Rate and source temperature control available via serial interface with VPctrl software and
quartz crystal microbalance 0 high temperature source thermocouple. Predictive algorithm quickly
assesses evaporation process to achieve and stably maintain required deposition rate
